Empowering Communities Together

The mission of Rebecca's Hands is to facilitate stability, faith, family, and growth for North Carolina's at-risk and opportunity children. We are dedicated to providing long-term and transitional housing security for some of the most vulnerable in North Carolina. The ability to offer the youth a way to attend classes, have warm meals in a clean environment, the assurance of a safe and consistent bed, and a place where a child may come to know they are loved and valued is our privilege and greatest hope.
Statewide across North Carolina, the total number of children in need of residential care exceeds 11,000.
The latest data from the Mecklenburg County Housing and Homelessness Dashboard advises that there are at least 146 unaccompanied youth and 540 people in families with children actively in the homelessness system at this time.
Rebecca's Hands offers protection, foundation, stability, and opportunity for these at risk youth in a compassionate home environment.
